Following our appointment to an initial scheme with main contractor Guildmore in July 2021, BJF Group’s MEP Residential Division has been awarded a second project for them.
The project will see us complete the electrical fit out of 74 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments at Varcoe Road in Southwark. The new apartments will include a number of affordable homes including 17 for social rent.
The units are split across two blocks; the South block which holds 50 apartments and the North block containing 24 apartments with commercial spaces on the ground floor.
BJF are responsible for the design and build including the specialist systems such as the Fire alarm, Door access, CCTV, TV/IRS, Data communications and the solar photovoltaic system. All of the landlord’s distribution and communal areas are also being completed by the BJF team.
