Working for Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust, a team from BJF Group’s mechanical and electrical Division finished a major external lighting project at Basildon Hospital.
In just two and a half weeks we replaced all of the end-of-life external fluorescent hospital lighting with more efficient Bluetooth controlled colour changing LED lighting.
The hospital is now not only saving money and reducing their carbon footprint but is also able to light their external facades to mark important occasions. Most recently the hospital has been lit up in blue to mark 75 years of the NHS and rainbow colours for Pride.
