Health & Safety is at the core of everything we do as we continually strive, through our Safe Systems of Work processes, to eliminate risk wherever possible.
Our main objective is to prevent injury or occupational ill health and provide the safest workplace for anyone who could be affected by our company operations.
In addition to holding SSIP recognised accreditations, we continually conduct a multitude of Health and Safety training with all of our operatives to raise awareness and improve safety.
We are committed to eliminating injury and incidents. Through site inductions, training, tool box talks and education programs we provide our employees and subcontractors with the tools, knowledge and resources they need to safely reduce risk on every project.
We hold membership of the SAFE contractor scheme, CHAS, Achilles and Constructionline and hold an exemplary track record in managing projects safely.
The BJF Group holds ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certificates and operates within a process driven environment governed by our own Integrated Management System (IMS).
BJF’s Managing Director, Senior Management Team, and Line Managers are fully committed to this IMS process and the standards associated with it. All levels of management are involved in the IMS process and are given ample opportunity to engage with the IMS owner to propose any changes or development necessary to permit growth and change.
It is BJF’s policy that all of its employees and subcontractors are appropriately trained and competent in order to satisfy the statutory/legislative requirements of the Construction, Design and Management (CDM) regulations.
