Following a recent audit, the delivery team for BJF Group’s 14 house development in Priory Road, Tonbridge has received an Excellent Considerate Constructors score of 44/45.
BJF Group’s Construction Division is currently in the final stages of a £3.2m residential project to deliver 14 new luxury homes for Elements Real Estate Group.
As with all of our major projects, we have registered the development with the Considerate Constructors scheme (CCS). CCS is a third-party audited initiative aimed at making construction sites the best they can be from the perspective of the community, the environment and the workforce on site.
Having scored a very respectable 40/45 on our first visit, we are extremely proud to have made further improvements and achieved a phenomenal score of 44/45 on our second audit.
The audit report is a glowing summary of this first-class site which highlights a number of areas of good practice. We have been commended by the auditor for our observation of strong health and safety practices, caring for the local community and sourcing local goods and services.
Despite challenging weather conditions the project itself is coming along well and is due to complete in late spring 2023. Cladding and rendering has been completed on four of the units so far and internals on all of the houses are progressing well with the show home decoration due to be finished very soon.
Paul Newstead, Head of Construction at BJF Group said:
“I am extremely proud of how our team have performed throughout this project and to have their excellent work verified by CCS is true recognition of the commitment made.
It is often difficult for schemes of this size to score this highly , so it is testament to the strong team we have on this project that we have done so well.
A huge congratulations to everyone involved.”
