BJF Group’s Mechanical & Electrical Division has won a new project as part of Breathe Energy’s East Kent Hospitals energy performance contract.
Following the completion of another similar project at QEQM Hospital, BJF Group’s Mechanical and Electrical Division has been awarded a new project by Breathe Energy at Kent & Canterbury Hospital.
As part of a major energy efficiency drive across a number of East Kent hospitals BJF Group will be supporting the upgrading of the Hospital’s newly installed Combined Heat and Power (CHP) system and upgrading the existing LV switch panel.
The new system allows for sub-metering to give the end user’s facilities team the ability to better manage energy usage across the various areas of the Hospital through improved visibility and control.
As a result of the upgrades the Hospital will save money, reduce their emissions, and achieve a significantly improved BREEAM rating.
BJF Group’s engineers are well-versed in the requirements of operating within live, sensitive environments such as hospitals having completed many projects of this nature.
