BJF Group’s Construction Division will soon be starting a new build high end residential project in High Halden, Kent for a private client. The build, including landscaping is expected to take around 40 weeks.
Designed by local architect Kent Design Studio (KDS) the 5-bedroom property will cover approximately 600 m2 over 2.5 floors and will include an integral garage. We will also be installing new access to the property and a separate driveway.
One standout feature will be the ground floor oak framed, fully glazed kitchen/diner and living area with bi-folding doors to maximise natural light. The rest of the new build has been designed to compliment the existing property with matching brickwork and slate.
There are also some ecological considerations to this build due to the presence of protected Great Crested Newts in the local area.
The existing property which shares its land with Elm Tree House features an extension which was awarded a Building Design Award by Ashford Borough Council and we will be aiming for the same for this project.
