BJF Group’s Project Services Division has been appointed to undertake a multi-million pound refurbishment project for a number of high street bank branches across the UK for a major banking group.
Working alongside a Tier 1 main contractor, BJF Group’s Project Services Division will be undertaking major building fabric improvements to the high street banks including the group’s flagship store.
Taking place throughout most of 2023, the refurbishments will see our teams totally overhaul each branch, giving them a new lease of life and ensuring that they are modern, welcoming, and secure.
The projects include decoration, flooring, demolition and reinstatement of partitions, installation of new furniture and other fabric improvements. We will also be taking responsibility for site management including the coordination of multiple specialist subcontractors.
Owing to the unique requirements associated with working within banking establishments, we will be contending with tight security and technical challenges, further compounded by a requirement for short turnaround times to ensure that the locations are reopened as quickly as possible. Most of the projects are between two and three weeks from start to finish.
