BJF Group’s Project Services Division has been awarded circa £1m of project works at a number of high security sites in the North of England as part of our long-standing relationship with a leading UK main contractor.
The projects will see us complete a series of enabling works to allow for the installation of specialist security equipment. This is part of a wider rollout of security enhancement upgrades taking place across the estate.
Building fabric works will include the demolition and construction of walls and the installation of new ceilings, flooring and doors as well as decoration. Mechanical and electrical elements of the project consist of new small power, lighting, fire detection and air conditioning.
With a large number of security-cleared engineers and having worked within secure and challenging environments including prisons, army barracks and hospitals for over 10 years, the BJF Group team is well versed in the requirements of projects of this nature and is ideally suited to carry them out.
