BJF Group’s Project Services Division has recently been awarded a string of projects totalling circa £0.5m in value within secure environments in the North West of England.
Working on behalf of a long-standing BJF Group client, our Project Services Division’s Northern-based team is set to complete approximately £0.5m of projects within a host of prison establishments over the coming 4 months.
The projects are all specifically aimed at ensuring that the establishments are kept to a high standard for occupants as well as creating and refurbishing staff spaces in line with HM Prison Service’s ambitions for maintaining high decency levels.
The scopes of each project are wide-ranging and include improvements to cells, communal areas including showers as well as highly important behind-the-scenes areas such as control rooms. All of the projects will need to be completed whilst being sympathetic to the ever-changing environments within each establishment.
Working within secure and challenging environments is a particular specialism of BJF Group. We have a long history of working within the challenging world of prisons, MOD sites, hospitals, schools and more and hold all the necessary security clearances to do so.
John O’Neil, Head of Project Services at BJF Group Said:
“Upholding stringent decency standards is crucial to the successful operation of a prison establishment and is something that we at BJF Group take very seriously when completing our projects within these environments.”
