BJF Group’s MEP Residential Team have been awarded a new MEP fit out project for main contractor JJ Rhatigan.
This project is part of Phase 1 of Clarion Housing’s £1.3bn Merton Regeneration Project which in total will create 2,800 homes with 1,800 of these being new homes when completed. The Eastfields Estate element of the project incorporates 800 new homes with a mixture of types.
BJF Group will be undertaking the full mechanical and electrical fit out of 32 homes on a design and build basis.
To futureproof the development, and to significantly increase the sustainability of the buildings heating systems, they will all be served by air source heat pumps. There will also be EV charging points and solar panels installed as part of this project.
We are already working collaboratively with Ashstone MEP and all other consultants appointed to the scheme to progress the design process.
This is the second project that we have been awarded by leading Tier 1 contractor JJ Rhatigan following the completion of the mechanical package on 36 apartments and circa 4,000m2 of office space in 2021 and we are delighted to have secured another project with JJ Rhatigan, and look forward to working with them to ensure a successful delivery.
