In recognition of our support to those who serve and have served in the Armed Forces, we are proud to announce that BJF Group has achieved a silver Armed Forces Covenant Employer Recognition Scheme Award.
BJF Group has a long and established history of working on Ministry of Defence sites as well as hiring ex-service personnel and we see first-hand the benefit that they can bring to a business. We employ a number of Veterans as well as reservists and military spouses/family members and are keen to do all we can to support them whilst providing a viable route into employment for others in a similar position.
Having signed the Armed Forces Covenant (LINK) in early 2022 we have quickly progressed through the Bronze award status to Silver. This demonstrates that we are a Forces Friendly employer and that we have put in to practice the pledges we have made as well as being proactive in our hiring processes and ongoing support for employees.
The Armed Forces Covenant Employer Recognition Scheme represents commitment and support from UK employers for defence personnel. The scheme comprises Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards for employers who support those who serve or have served in the Armed Forces, and their families.
The Award will be formally recognised at an event in early September which will see all of the Silver awarded businesses as well as members of the Armed Forces come together to celebrate their success.
