BJF Group has partnered with BuildForce to support our ex-military hiring aspirations
BJF Group has recently partnered with BuildForce, an organisation dedicated to supporting service personnel, veterans, reservists and spouses to transition into careers in the Construction sector and the wider built environment.
Their rich wraparound support programme aligns their military candidates with potential employers giving them all of the support they need to not only find sustainable employment but also to thrive in civilian life.
As a major Facilities Management provider on the Ministry of Defence FDIS contract, it is BJF Group’s aim to provide employment opportunities to ex-service personnel as well as military spouses and family members.
BJF Group already employs a number of veterans as well as reservists and members of military families and we have found them to be highly valuable members of the team, not just within our MOD contract but across all of our Divisions.
In addition to our partnership with BuildForce, we hold a silver Armed Forces Covenant Employer Recognition Scheme Award and have recently provided month-long work placements for six currently serving Royal Engineers based in Wiltshire, you can read more on this here.
Partnering with BuildForce will give us access to a wide range of ex-military talent and we look forward to boosting our armed forces employee base.
Caroline Logan, BuildForce Program Director said:
“Our engagement began with BJF Group some years ago as we were introduced by our supply chain which saw one of candidates gaining employment. Therefore, we are delighted to now welcome the organisation into the BuildForce family as one of our valued members; we look forward to building on our relationship and providing more opportunities for our military talent pool.”
