BJF Group’s Mechanical & Electrical Division were in the driving seat for an electrical fit out of a new vehicle workshop and paint shop facility for IM Group on behalf of main contractor Fenrose Ltd. The IM Group is an internationally renowned automotive distributor and pre-delivery inspector of well-known vehicle brands.
The new building will provide a spacious and up to date working environment for the preparation of new vehicles to ready them for transportation.
The 600m2 Facility contains two spray booths for vehicle paint preparation and application which are contained within the building structure and were designed and installed by a specialist supplier. The environment benefits from Low Energy LED Bay lighting throughout, multiple power supplies for the varied equipment to be used, and high-level warm air heating.
The design and build project involved full electrical design and installation for the building including lighting, emergency lighting, small power, electrical distribution, fire alarms, external lighting and power supplies to mechanical equipment.
The project was delivered on time, on budget and to a high standard.
