BJF Group’s M&E team has recently completed a major external lighting project at Basildon Hospital.
Working for Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust, a team from BJF Group’s mechanical and electrical Division have recently finished a major external lighting project at Basildon Hospital.
In just two and a half weeks we replaced all of the end-of-life external fluorescent hospital lighting with more efficient Bluetooth controlled colour changing LED lighting.
The hospital is now not only saving money and reducing their carbon footprint but is also able to light their external facades to mark important occasions. Most recently the hospital has been lit up in blue to mark 75 years of the NHS and rainbow colours for Pride.
Following the success, we are now looking to incorporate the same solution at two more Essex-based Hospitals.
